While a person can study a foreign language at home， the effect can never be compared with constant use of the language in academic and everyday life. There is no better opportunity to improve second-language skills than living in the country in which it is spoken. 　Second， living and studying abroad offers me a different perspective of the world. 　在一种机遇与挑战并存的环境中探求自己的欲望或梦想，这时候面临的逆境才可叫作逆境。

　这个是出国旅游学不到的。

　而从国内校园跨入西方社会种种不适。在校园里，和同学相处，与教授探讨，写essay，做项目，这些过程中都能更好懂得挫折真味。工作就更不必提了。

　国内的「挫折」貌似往往是这样的：一帆风顺，有一天发现别人有钱自己没钱，或者某君比自己更富有，发现某某凭关系顶了你的位置，发现别人会拍马屁你不会拍，发现会哭的孩子有奶吃，好了，发现社会不公平了，要变的现实了。喔，这是挫折教育。好多朋友给我描述的就是这样的东西。

　这个?怎么能叫挫折?这个叫时代的弊病，社会的固疾，是需要我们资深变得足够强大以后慢慢改变的东西。
